The book for the class suggested to store all the cut pieces in a cutlery tray. Not finding one that I felt suited the job I went digging through my boxes for my threads. I had been using this thin tackle box for my smaller metallic thread spools and with the removeable slats it made a perfect storage solution to keep me organized. Not to mention the lid with snap closures was great for transporting to and from class.

What a great idea! Thanks for sharing.
Oh Wow! I love that idea! I will have to try that the next time we are doing a project like that at quilt guild.

Good idea! And you are ready to go! Those fabrics are gorgeous!
I love the hardware & camping sections of stores for finding my quilting needs. They are always cheaper than the things you buy in the quilters section. I have purchased tackle boxes for just the same purpose you are showing, and thos heat resistent plastic washers that come in all kinds of sizes are great for making applique circles. Then there are those boxes on wheels for hauling all our stuff.
Wow that is very organized.
Love this idea and great to travel with...love your blog, Thanks...Karlene
