NEW DELIVERY! Today I received the Dandelion Girl Jelly Rolls by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda. This line of fabric is so pretty, I think I might keep one for myself, oh, my stash of Jelly Rolls is growing quickly!

- I have been a quilter for over 15 years now, inspired by my late Grandma Emma who spent many hours quilting and Tatting. My first ever quilt I made in honour of her and cut out each 2 ½ inch square of fabric with scissors, stitched each piece together by hand with needle and thread, then hand quilted it...I was 23. Tatting, the ancient art of Victorian lace making, she taught me at the age of 12. And although quilting has somewhat taken over my life, I still enjoy the art of Tatting now and again.

Pretty Pretties! Love the colors
When I was in Paducah this week at Hancock's I saw the Dandelion Girl jelly rolls and the FQ bundle which almost made it's way into my basket. Oh my, it's gorgeous.
